Welcome to Pack 457
This calendar gives you an idea of what to expect out of Pack 457 over the next year of scouting. The leaders of Pack 457 hope that you have a great scouting experience and we strive to make it an awesomely fun time. If you have questions, please email the pack at pack457@msn.com and your message will be forwarded to the right person. You should also log into scoutlander - rfpack457.scoutlander.com to get up to date calendar reminders and event descriptions. We also maintain pictures at - rfpack457.shutterfly.com. Feel free to upload pictures that you take at scouting events that you are willing to share. Each cubscout should have an attending adult at the events, families welcome to join in the fun too!
Typical Monthly Events at a Glance:
Parent Planning Meeting: 2nd Monday of Each Month @ 6:30 pm at RF Library Meeting Room
Pack Meeting: 3rd Monday of Each Month @ 6:30 pm at American Legion
Additional Pack Activities: Typically one additional pack activity each month. These activities may have additional costs depending on Pack budget. Popcorn sales above the minimum $300 in sales (or $105 buyout) per scout are used to defray these additional costs. We get 35% of sales ($300 * 0.35 = $105). We ask each scout to sell a minimum of $300 or pay the $105 buyout (combinations of both can be used) to support Pack, den, and camping activities.
Den Meetings:
Lion Den: 1st Wednesday of each month with locations chosen by each parent leading the monthly meeting
Tiger Den: Typically 2nd Wednesday of each month with locations relevant to achievement covered
Wolf Den: 1st Tuesday of each month @6-7 pm at Hoffman Octagon Building or RF Library
Bear Den: 2nd Tuesday of each month (some months may change) @6-7 pm at Hoffman Octagon Building
Webelos Dens: 1st Monday of each month @6-7 pm at Hoffman Octagon Building
