Membership is open to any boy between the age of 11 and 17. Boys who are Cub Scouts may join once they have earned the Arrow of Light or reach the age of 11. Other boys may join when they reach the age of 11, or when they complete the 5th grade. But boys may join at any time if they meet the age requirement. An annual Registration fee of approximately $75 must be paid each year in September. Almost half of this fee goes directly to BSA for annual registration fee, insurance and a Boys’ Life subscription. The rest of the money goes to pay for badges, awards, Troop expenses and costs for camping and outings, many of which are funded from the troop treasury.
The BSA organization also needs parents to volunteer and help out in activities. Please contact your Scout Master or Committee chairman for more details. Adults can also become members by using the Adult application form attached below. Adult members have to take Youth Protection Training (YPT). Please look at the link for instructions to complete YPT. Youth members who have completed 18 years of age can become Adult members by completing the application form and YPT.
