Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 3810

Cub Scout Pack 3810 is located in Chilton, WI and is part of Bay-Lakes Council 635 and the Lakeshore District.  We are chartered by the Chilton VFW Post 3153.

In Cub Scouts we strive to teach young boys citizenship, personal awareness and physical fitness.  We do this through a variety of fun activities held in our den and pack meetings. Scouting is wonderful way to help boys develop new skills and responsibilities, in addition to improving self-esteem.  Scouting helps with character development and self discovery.

If you are interest in learning more about Pack 3810 or attending a meeting, please feel free to contact us 920-312-1127 or bsapack3810@gmail.com.

Wolf Den

2nd Grade
         or 7-8 Yrs

Den Leader
Miranda Lorenz, James Cooper & Sara Puhl

Our Goals  A year-round family, home, and community centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills.

Summary  The boys will learn more about staying healthy, knowing their home and community, tools for fixing and building, cooking healthy, being safe, making good choices, and much more.

Bear Den

Third Grade
      or 8-9 Yrs

Den Leader
    John Kost

Our Goals   In the Bear Den, there are four general achievement groups: God,CountryFamily, and Self. There are 120 achievement tasks and your Bear Cub must earn a certain number of achievements in each of the four groups to earn his Bear Badge.  This is the year your son will grow in amazing ways. After earning their Bear Badge, the scout may earn arrow points by completing additional achievement tasks.

Summary Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the scout with his family outside of the den.  The parent signs off in the scout's handbook and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook in our tracking Software.  The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with his den and more individual direction as he graduates to Webelos.

Webelos Den

4th & 5th Grade
       or 9-10 Yrs

Den Leader
       Janine Johnson-Cullen & Bridget Bartel

Our Goals  Webelos is a 20 month program for 4th and 5th grade boys to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop while learning outdoor skills and participating in 20 different activity badges. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an 'adult-run' den to being a 'boy-run' patrol ready to fit right into an adventurous scouting troop.

Summary The Webelos program has two major milestones - the Webelos rank badge to be earned at the 4th grade level and the Arrow of Light to be earned at the 5th grade. The final part of Webelos is bridging over into a Boy Scout troop selected individually by the scout.
